Ten years of building, one product we believe in.
We're a software studio from Bucharest, Romania. We started by designing products, grew into building them, and today we make alexandr — the operating system we wished our clients had.
Our story
- 2015
A design studio in Bucharest
sosofresh began as a UI/UX design studio. We designed interfaces for startups and established companies, and learned to obsess over how software feels in someone's hands.
- Soon after
From designing products to building them
Clients kept asking us to build what we designed, so we did. sosofresh became a software development studio — still a small team, now taking on big projects end to end, from the first sketch to production.

AI automation for businesses
We started building AI tools that automate real work for the businesses we partnered with: assistants that triage, draft, summarise and keep knowledge current. We saw how much they could do — and how much was missing around them.

Everything we learned came together in alexandr: an integrated operating system for businesses and professionals, built around an assistant that works with any model and keeps your work in your hands.
How we work
Small team, big projects
We've always been small on purpose. A few people who care deeply, owning the whole product, ship better work than a crowd handing it off.
Design is how it works
We started as designers and never stopped. Every part of what we build — down to the error messages — is designed, not just implemented.

Software that holds people's work has to be dependable. We make conservative promises, publish them, and keep them.

Working with businesses on AI, we saw the same pattern again and again: teams tied their work to one model, one vendor, one chat window — and lost control of it.
alexandr is built the other way around. Your workspace comes first; the models are interchangeable parts. That's the idea the whole company is organised around.
