Workspaces can now run in our cloud — always on, shared with your team, with nothing to set up.
Until now, alexandr ran on your own computer. Today we're opening the second door: alexandr in our cloud. Your workspace runs on infrastructure we operate, stays on when your laptop is closed, and can be shared with the people you work with.
Three ways to run the same workspace
When you create a workspace in alexandr, you now choose where it lives:
- In our cloud — always on, for you and your team. Every app, the assistant and storage are included, with one simple price per seat.
- On your computer — the desktop app brings its own runtime. Your data never leaves your Mac or PC, and it's free during the beta.
- On premises — for organizations that need alexandr inside their own infrastructure, our team deploys and manages a dedicated instance.
It's the same workspace in every case: the same assistant, the same apps, the same freedom to choose your model. Where it runs is a decision about convenience and control — not about features.
Isolated by design
Every cloud workspace runs in its own isolated runtime. Workspaces don't share a process, a filesystem or a database with anyone else's. Model provider keys are held encrypted on our side, and usage is metered so you can see exactly what your team spends.
