Introducing alexandr
After three years of building AI tools for businesses, we're releasing the system they grew into: an AI workspace that's yours.
Today we're releasing the first public build of alexandr for the Mac: a model-agnostic AI assistant and workspace for businesses and professionals.
Where it came from
Since 2023, our studio has been building AI automation tools for the businesses we work with — assistants that triage inboxes, draft reports, keep knowledge up to date. Every project taught us the same lesson: the model was rarely the hard part. The hard part was everything around it — where the work lives, which tools the AI can reach, who's in control, and what happens when a better model comes along next month.
alexandr is our answer to that. Instead of another chat window, it's an integrated operating system for your work, with an assistant at its centre.
What alexandr does
- One assistant, every model. Use Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Mistral or a local model — and switch whenever you want. Your workspace, prompts and apps come with you.
- Apps, not just answers. Install apps from the catalog or ask alexandr to build one for you. They live inside your workspace, next to your assistant.
- Skills, connectors and automations. Connect the tools you already use, and let routine work — a morning briefing, a weekly digest — run on its own.
Yours, by design
alexandr runs on your own computer, with its own runtime built in. Your data stays on your machine. It's free during the public beta.
